One morning, when I was sitting with Father in my secret place, I felt like I saw a picture in my mind of me walking over to Him, taking His hands and stepping up onto His feet to dance. I’m usually a little girl when I see us dancing this way.  Standing on His feet ensures that He will lead me as we dance, and all I have to do is surrender to His movement and hold on tight.

He began whispering to my heart,

“Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭MSG‬‬

He began to tell me a few things about dancing with Him in 2026…

“I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea… “But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭16‬, ‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong. Then you will find the healing refreshment your body and spirit long for.” ‭‭

What about you? Do you believe the Father in heaven wants to dance with you? He longs to lead you in 2026.  

Maybe you are thinking, “I don’t know how…??????”

Go to Him in prayer.  Pour your heart out to Him and tell him you desire Him to speak to you everyday and lead your dance.  Give Him some of your time.  Be still and pay attention to the gentle whispers from Him we usually perceive as “thoughts”.  Get a journal or notebook and write the thoughts down trusting in His LOVE and His WORD.  (In John 10:27 Jesus says, “My sheep will hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me.”) Hearing God speaking to you is the first dancing lesson!
