As I sat with the Lord listening to what was on His heart yesterday, I felt He began to paint a picture of his desire for relationship with each of us for the days we live in. He wants to lead us in every decision with his loving whispers of truth and wisdom. Do you struggle with anxiety, turmoil in your family, or uncertainty that grips your heart? In these days of great unknowns, there is a pathway of peace. This is a practical word of encouragement from the ONE who can still calm the sea with a word and walk on the water with you. This is an invitation from the Master.
“…The Master is here and he’s asking for you.” John 11:28
Being Led by the Holy Spirit
I felt He said,
“Tell my Beloveds that the children of God are led by the Holy Spirit. They walk with him and they listen. They make decisions according to heavenly wisdom, nudges, and doors that Holy Spirit opens and closes.
My people who have surrendered their own will are those who are looked upon with favor – those with a humble and contrite spirit, who tremble at My Word and My voice.
Those who diligently make sure the voice they hear aligns with My Holy Word. This is so important. Because there are many false voices arising as the enemy seeks to bring much confusion into the body of Christ. My children must learn to hear Me and know Me personally as they seek Me in their secret place daily. Those who seek Me and give Me their time will find Me.
‘But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.’ Matthew 6:6
This is the first step to being led by the Spirit of God in the day to day, moment by moment decisions. Give Me the first fruits of your day and spend time with Me in prayer. Talk to Me about your life and then LISTEN as I tell you My heart about these things.
I am the Wonderful Counselor and I have much to say about what you mean to Me. I love to lead you with My scriptures on how to reconcile relationships, make difficult decisions, how to parent your children, how to prioritize things going on around you that seem overwhelming.
Trust in Me with all of your heart and don’t trust in your own understanding. I see the end from the beginning, and I see exactly where you are in the progression of time. You don’t have wisdom if you don’t ask me: the WISDOM GIVER. I see the fullness of revelation for all things and I desire to be your Source.
I AM still the WAY, the TRUTH, and YOUR LIFE. Blessed is the one who puts their trust in Me and who keeps their thoughts fixed on Me. For this one, I will be your Trustworthy God; Your Everlasting Rock.
The River of God is Rising
The river of living water is My Spirit who lives within those who belong to Me.
“Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, ‘Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’” (When he said “living water,” he was speaking of the Spirit, who would be given to everyone believing in him. But the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet entered into his glory.)’ John 7:37-39
“God has a constantly flowing river whose sparkling streams bring joy and delight to his people. His river flows right through the city of God Most High, into his holy dwelling places.” (US!) Psalms 46:4
All who are thirsty, COME! Come to the River. Come with your ears wide open. Listen to ME, and you will find life!
The RIVER is RISING in this time on planet earth. Do you perceive it? Though the water is rising… it’s only ankle deep, but soon it will be knee deep, then waist deep, then over your head! Everything in this Holy Spirit river will experience LIFE and life abundantly.
“‘Wherever the river flows, all living creatures will live and thrive. Schools of fish will be very plentiful, for wherever the river goes, it brings healing, and everything will come alive!” Ezekiel 47:9
Beloved, will you yield to the river of God? Will you surrender to My living water?
Come to Me. Come to Me in your secret place. Regardless of your previous perception, understanding, or routine, consider this your invitation from the Master.
Come to the secret place and spend time with Me. Read My word. Listen to Me whisper My love about who I AM and who you are in Me. I will lead you in the way you should go. Expect my still small voice to speak to your heart every time you give me your attention and your affection.
Today, do not harden your heart, but step into the river with Me in your secret place.
Come and see.”
♥️Maybe things in your life have been really busy and you’ve been tired. Ask Him to help you get up earlier to give Him your time. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. (Isaiah 40:29) He hears your heart cry. Set your heart to obedience to His invitation. His grace is sufficient and He will help you in your weakness… if you ask. He’s faithful!
As you listen to Him, remember He speaks His word! 😋
