NOW is the Time for Salvation

Giving your life to Jesus is the most important decision anyone can make in this life because it determines where you will spend eternity. This decision is about to change your eternal destination forever. You’re becoming a part of a new family.

This is not something you have to redo and pray over and over. If you are genuine in your surrender, Jesus will take your life and transform it completely. 

Salvation in Jesus Christ is not just repeating words or agreeing with a set of facts. It is an encounter with the Living Jesus. 

Encountering Jesus makes you aware that you need forgiveness for your sins.

Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin. John 8:34

It is astounding to realize the Bible says Jesus laid His life down for you right in the middle of your mess. That is how much He loves YOU.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Our sin deserved death, but our God is a WAYMAKER. He gave us His only son, Jesus, to make a way for us to be saved.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

Just knowing information about salvation isn’t enough. The Bible says even the demons know all these things. But they hate the truth. 

Salvation is asking you to begin a RELATIONSHIP with your Lord and Savior… and as you give your life to Him, you are truly trusting Him to save you and fully forgive you for all of your sins. This is not just a head knowledge, it’s a heart connection also. A personal connection between you and Jesus… you don’t become saved because people in your family have trusted him. Salvation is for individuals.

John 3:16 says, “WHOEVER believes in him will not perish, but have eternal life.”

He has been pursuing you. Waiting on you to come to Him. The next few words are not magic and the words themselves do not save you. But they will help you express your heart to HIM.

Lord Jesus, I come to ask You to forgive me for my sins in the past, present, and future. I believe that You not only died for my sins but rose again and conquered death. I confess that I want You to be my Lord and Savior forever. I give my life to You, completely, to transform me into the one you created me to be. Today, I want a relationship with You. Holy Spirit, I invite You into my life, to fill me, and connect God’s voice to my heart.
